Before his death Jesus gives us the Lord’s Supper. It is a fulfillment of the passover. It is a reminder of his death. It is a looking forward to the feast of the Lamb. It is a recieving and a participation with his death.
Men care about money and look at appearances. God judges the heart.
Jesus enters Jerusalem as king, but not like an earthly king. He comes in humility. He comes to serve. He comes to die.
Jesus came to heal those broken by sin.
God works behind the scenes to deliver his people.
Despite their sin, God fulfills his promise to bring his people back to Judah.
Evil men attempt to destroy Daniel but the Lord is taking care of him.
God not only delivers the men but walks with them in the fire.
God works through the simple things of this world. God’s power is hidden in water and word and promise. Through these things God cleanses and heals bringing his salvation to men.
We are all subject to death because of our sin. Yet in Christ death is conquered and his people are taken to heaven.
