WHAT TO EXPECT
Our retreat to the ISLAND will be 4 nights and 5 days with amazing opportunities to dive into the Word and create and grow Christian friendships. Our presenters will be talking about topics that apply to you and leading discussions with your questions and thoughts.
Included will be time for summertime lake activities like boating, fishing, swimming, tubing and so much more! Hiking is available on the island as well as campfires and games.
WHO IS COMING
Those entering 9th grade in the fall to those who just graduated high school. Attendees will be joined by a small group of counselors including an onsite nurse and lifeguard. We will have daily visits from our presenters and those helping with activities.

NEED TO KNOW INFORMATION:
CAMP INFO
This retreat is sponsored by the Immanuel, Mankato congregation. We’re excited for our talented group of Christian counselors and presenters with pastor-led devotions. We will have an onsite nurse and lifeguard and immediately available transportation off-site if needed.
Camp will begin Wednesday evening, August 2nd. Check-in will be 5:00-6:00 pm. We will wrap up by 12:00pm on Sunday, August 6th.

Camp FAHOCHA is located about 20 miles NE of Mankato, MN on German Lake. Attendees will be responsible for getting to Beaver Dam Resort which is the pontoon pick up point. Please consider carpooling or getting dropped off, as there is not a lot of parking. More info will be sent to registered attendees.
We will be shuttled to the island on pontoons. Please consider this as you pack!
There are many activities available on the island including swimming, hiking, canoes, paddleboats, indoor games, and many more!
LODGING/ACCOMODATIONS
The camp will be considered “rustic” by some. There are male and female flush toilets as well as 2 showers in each restroom. The main lodge has kitchen and meeting spaces for us. All meals and snacks will be provided.
The camp has small cabins for our attendees that can house 5. Please be aware that the provided beds are “cots.” Sleeping bags will work best on these. Single air mattresses will be allowed, provided you bring your own way of inflating it.
If you are interested in tenting, please contact the organizers. You would need to provide your own equipment.
COST/PAYMENT
Cost of the camp is $125.00. Please write checks to Immanuel Lutheran Church. After registering, you will receive a permission form to sign.

PACKING LIST
- Clothing for 4 days at the lake
- Sweatshirt/jacket for cool evenings
- Swimsuit (appropriate, please!)
- Personal items/shower supplies
- Bug spray
- Sunscreen
- Beach and/or Bath towels
- Bedding/pillow (see lodging notes)
- Water bottle (we will have clean drinking water to refill)
- Tennis shoes if you’d like to hike/sandals okay for most wear
- Flashlight
- Bible
- Technology is brought at your own discretion. We are not responsible if any damage occurs. Phone policies will be explained at camp.
- Meals and snacks will be provided. Anything brought should be in moderation.
